| The numbers from the 2/28/08 ballot count are as follows:
- 66.07 percent in favor of asking the city for a 23 foot maximum height
- 33.93 percent opposed 56 ballots cast: 37 for, 19 against
In accordance with the BHCC bylaws, the 23 foot height limit proposal passed by a majority and will be forwarded to the city for action.

ARTICLE THREE Meetings and Voting
3.1 The Council shall meet on the fourth Thursday of each month, unless otherwise agreed in advance at a prior monthly meeting. The Council shall send a notice of each meeting and a copy of the planned agenda to no fewer than those members who have registered with the Council in writing. However, to the extent that it is financially feasible and approved in the Council's annual budget, the Council will send the notice and agenda to every household within the Council's boundary.
3.3 The members of the Council present at any given membership meeting shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. All matters coming before any meeting of the Council shall be determined by majority vote of the members present. There shall be neither absentee nor proxy voting. |
